My JOB's unlimited O.T. vs jumping into Real Estate?

Hi BPers, I have a dilemma. I'd love to put more time into Real Estate, farming my area for deals, but my job is giving our unlimited overtime right now. And with a baby on the way the extra $$ is useful. Every time I grab the OT though I feel It's taking away precious time from my REI goals. Have y'all faced similar issues? What would be my best path to do both? Or is a hard decision warranted? Thx BP community!

I wouldn't necessarily call this a simple situation but I'd see what you can do to mobilize a team on your behalf. Do you have a support system? Someone to visit properties? Someone to estimate rehab? Management? Etc. I haven't been in the situation myself but a relative of mine is able to move quickly on deals out of state because his team is established and it frees him up to not worry about getting to every property himself.
