High inflation rates can signal an ailing economy. 

Not all markets have the same lack of signs, but that's true in any economy, any year. 

This is a common problem (especially for new investors) in our current economy. 

Full time investors with portfolios, particularly apartment owners, are able to achieve economies of scale and volume pricing that are hugely important.

Find a state you're interested in, then narrow it down to a few counties/cities with a growing economy and projected growth for the foreseeable future.

Economies of scale favor small MFH heavily, given you just have more under 1 roof. 

These companies are true experts at what they do and have several levers to maximize revenue (dynamic pricing, economies of scale, technology, etc.). 

Yet this first increase in 13 months stems from more people entering the labor force in search of jobs — a good sign for our economy.
