I just joined BP and wanted to search for this before posting.I just got my first rental property and should close on it next week.

Still figuring out if I should or not.I am looking to become more of an active long term real estate investor (I have been investing in stocks since the age of 17) and I would like to join the Mid-Atlantic REIA.

Even think about rentals on some for building monthly cashflow.To me, the benefit of real estate with a full time job and cashflow from rentals, it helps reduce your AGI and overall propel you towards even more cash.Also, look to join a real estate investors group/club in your area and learn more on this website as I read about others on here going from 0 experience to 100% full time REI than I could have ever imagined.

Joining BP makes me realize how big is the gap of knowledge that i currently have.I have a long way to go with all those interesting articles posted here.

I have been reading these forums and have been so impressed with the wealth of knowledge and the selfless sharing of information and ideas that I joined and plan to become a paid member in the near future.

I just joined BP and I am already amazed by the amount of good information out there and that the members of the group are so generous in sharing their experiences and motivating / mentoring each other.

I just joined BiggerPockets last week so good to read of others peoples success stories.
