My goal is to build enough residual income off of real estate in order to supplement the $3,000 a month I'll get from my disability check every month.

I'm not trying to spam but I placed a similar post in a more generic forum and then I noticed this forum which I think is more specific to the location I need assistance. 

We own a duplex rental property here in Virginia Beach and are mostly of the buy/hold mentality to supplement eventual retirement income in 6 years.

I'm engaged to be married next year and I want to supplement my job income with real estate income so that I can spend more time with my soon-to-be family.  

My long term goal is to supplement our retirement income in 20 years.

We want to keep the yellow letters as short and to the point as possible but also weren't sure if we should have two versions of yellow letters similar to our post cards or if one generic letter would be good enough.

I'm currently working full-time as a Mechanical Engineer, but I want to learn about the possibilities of supplementing that income with investing.

I'm currently on track to obtain my RE license and was wondering if anyone could suggest any books, videos, articles, etc. that would give me a bette grasp and more understanding on being a successful agen...

I'm not looking to replace me current company or sell it to start something new, rather supplement or diversify my income stream from multiple areas.

One technique that worked for me was I emailed all the managers in my area the same generic email...short, asking a few generic questions.
