Veteran here and have used this clause before during a PCS.https://codes.findlaw.com/tx/p...TLDR :  if the orders are legit, PM for further info if needed for ensuring the legitimacy of orders, then the last day of the following month after official notification they are released from the lease, minus damages.

I researched the information on his business card and everything was legit, except his work.

Just make sure it was really a legit agency who contacted you and not someone posing as an agency representative. :-)Hopefully my "insight" will guide you to in a win-win for both of you and not "incite" something worse!

CL used to be legit until it's not. 

He seems legit to me if you are willing to pay the money.
