Phil Pustejovsky / Freedom Mentor
So I've been seriously considering doing the Freedom Mentor program. I've now had 3 short phone conversations with them, and have a "final interview" scheduled tomorrow. I've read the other discussions on this program, but they seem a little outdated. They're now asking for $5000 as the smallest start fee, all the way up to $40k. They recommend the $15k program, because apparently they do a lot of the marketing for you, or so they say. Seems like a lot of money, and even though I don't have a problem paying for education if it's justified, my qualms are more about what level of involvement than anything else. There seems to be advantages other than just the education. If you can't find a creative way to fund your deal, they'll fund it for you, at a rate half that of normal hard money lender. That sort of thing. Has anyone gone through this thing? Anyone have more information on what they different levels of mentorship are? Is it worth it? I'm looking for people who have actually gone through the program, instead of the general discussions of whether you need a mentor at all.

I don't think they recommend the $15k program because they do some marketing for you. They recommend the $15k program because your $15k becomes their $15k.
You'd be better off spending $15k on marketing yourself. Maybe you'll make a couple of mistakes, but that's the best way to learn.
