Just want you to be aware in case you are counting on that as a strategy.As others have said, try to leverage your current home or rent it out and move into a 1-4 unit and live in 1 unit and rent out the others.

I mean sure it's possible for someone to get hit by lightning 17 times, but I would worry more about getting hit by a car while Im crossing a highway.

You would be counting on a lender acting really dumb (I agreed THAT happens) and ignoring are of the due process the superior court will require of your efforts in noticing them.

My plan is to buy a new primary residence and rent this current house out, but my DTI would not qualify for much of a new loan if this private loan counts.
