Regardless of what you will hear from the Pros on BP, I as a burned out, 30 year landlord with the rest of my properties in Brazil...the worst idea is to buy SFH's etc. many miles apart from each other.

It has a horrible "burning pile" used on the "farm", with old furniture, metal, carpeting, wood, etc. that is burned there regularly right in front of the house (20 ft from it) in a huge pile, that is often simmering.

Hey Y'all, I recently had a single family burn down in St Louis.

If you burn a section of the counter, or put a hole in the wall, you will be charged X as we have to paint the whole wall/replace the whole counter etc....make it part of your lease moving forward.  

Major chlorine tablet maker's plant burned down at the end of last year.

We’ve all been burned for things.

There are no legal restrictions, but put yourself in the Realtor's shoes.If you're running all over the place doing multiple showings, burning all sorts of time and gas and the buyer takes a deal from another agent, you would be pretty ticked off. 

Good luck and don't loose sight of the end goal and make sure you don't burn yourself out before  you get there.
