Regardless of what you will hear from the Pros on BP, I as a burned out, 30 year landlord with the rest of my properties in Brazil...the worst idea is to buy SFH's etc. many miles apart from each other.

It has a horrible "burning pile" used on the "farm", with old furniture, metal, carpeting, wood, etc. that is burned there regularly right in front of the house (20 ft from it) in a huge pile, that is often simmering.

There are no legal restrictions, but put yourself in the Realtor's shoes.If you're running all over the place doing multiple showings, burning all sorts of time and gas and the buyer takes a deal from another agent, you would be pretty ticked off.
