Yes, there are several creative ways you could acquire the property, but I'm not sure listing them here would ensure you earn a decent return on this particular investment.Way more information is needed.You mentioned house-hacking, so I assume your plan would be to live in one of the units and rent out the other.

Not trying to split hairs here, but the difference is important.I think this would make lease options particularly problematic, since they are defining your intent to sell not hold long term.That said, your intent can change.

So it's not like they just go live in a RV or something the rest of their life.As for Arizona and Phoenix in particular, we're a huge destination for both boomers and millennials so I don't see inventory increasing because of the older generation retiring.
