There are three options to get an LLC running.1) hire a lawyer.. pay $1-2K, it will be done right and they will tell you what you have to do to keep it legal2) Go to legalzoom or another web based lawyer function.. they will charge you about $4-600, and help you if the forms are not filled out correctly and you can read on the web site what you have to do to keep it legal3) go to the your State's department of State and download and fill out the forms to open an LLC, (that costs $125 in PA), so it will be less, but if you fill the form out incorrectly it will bounce back to you with little to any explanation.... option 2 is usually a good place to start, and then you copy the old forms to make the next one yourself.
