Purchase price: $261,900 Cash invested: $17,553 Duplex that I bought to live in one side, FHA Loan, and much much closer to my work.

Question I have is can I do a walk through before buying a home, bring in a GC, or even have it inspected?

He had a bpo done last year closer to a 11/2 years.  

Of course, there are many other things before making the final decision, but once you have your strategy figured out this will allow you to get one step closer in the process. 

This is not to say your A-type property will never get a bad tenant who trashes the place just before the sheriff throws them out.Remember to do regular inspections at the property you own, take photos and make notes. 

Count on cleaning, chimney inspection, filter changes. 

A dealer from 60 miles away brought the car to me and had the reduced rate just to the dealers closer to me wouldn't get a sale. 

Could you take the money from that house and buy  a rental property closer to where you will be moving?
