So to me, it doesn't make sense to discriminate against crowdfunding investments for something that's going to be true of virtually every other alternative.Anyway, if you're convinced that crowdfunding platforms have a unique issue, there is a third-party company that adds an additional layer of due diligence on top of the crowdfunding platforms, you might be interested in: Alpha Flow. 

Depending on if you are an accredited investor will determine which crowd funding platforms you have access to.

Dallas has recently followed in the footsteps of cities like Portland, OR by having Airbnb collect the Occupancy Taxes directly on their platform.

After you do the deal, the seller / prior owner needs to sell the mortgage on FCI Exchange or a similar platform.

@Ethan SummersYea, I haven't tapped into the IG ads yet just because I respect the difference between the 2 platforms and I don't think I have what it takes right now to effectively engage on IG.

Possibly through a crowd funding platform, direct lending to another investor or becoming an equity partner in a nearby venture.  

The idea about a crowdfunding would be for folks to invest in a loan structure through the crowdfunding platform.
