Seeking advertising advice as a licensed agent in Ohio
Hi all! So I've had my agents license in Ohio for a little over a year now (investing for around 5 yrs now) and I've used it almost exclusively for investing and plan to keep doing so. I'd like to start a marketing campaign, something along the lines of yellow letters/post cards as well as website to help find investment deals. My real estate courses made it seem like I would be sued or reported to the board for all kinds of reasons in advertising. If I am trying to purchase these properties myself, does my broker's name need to appear on advertisements? Is there any pitfalls that I should avoid in print or web advertising? Any other advice? Thanks!!

What's wrong with yellow letters? It's a pretty proven form of marketing... My idea was to have yellow letters direct them to a website to collect basic info and determine if it is a good lead. Only looking for a few deals a year as a buy and hold investor. Still not sure of the requirements in advertising being a licensed agent. My guess would be I would have to disclose that I'm an agent, but don't think I would have to (or should) include any broker info.
