I can remember our plane sitting on the tarmac at the Italian airport outside of Milan surrounded by soldiers with machine guns.

The inside looks very nice, and yes close to the beach as the crow flies, but I'm not sure how desirable that area is for short term rentals, especially right across from the airport, albeit a small one. 

We do not need to go to Mexico anymore, I can avoid the airports, the mountains of stinky seaweed flowing onshore, the machine gun road checkpoints, the scams at the local market, etc. and get in my car and drive to Florida.Unless you travel first class flying is now a truly painful experience.

You can catch direct flights on Spirit from Boston to Myrtle Beach for $90 one way.  30 minute drive to the airport, 2 hour flight, 30 minute drive to the beach... toes in the sand.

I’m close to the airport, a park, and short distance from all sporting arenas. 

my life is really all the motivation I need :) remembering that I can continue my work from a street cafe', a public park, an airport terminal or my living room, that my wife is my business partner, that we can both take any time we wan to have a date, some time off, a three week holiday etc - and that the strictest schedule in our lives is our son's school hours - plus the fact that we're both (almost) always there before he goes and when he comes back - that's what keeps me going at all times (as well as the more professional aspects of taking pride in my work, receiving praise and recognition from my peers, being able to help others achieve their dreams, the thrill of the challenges and overcoming them, etc etc)

I only watch cnn when I'm stuck at airports that show it.

Most of the time, it'll be sitting at the airport in a parking lot.
