I currently have around 20k cash for a down payment and that is steadily increasing so I want to pull the trigger soon.I'm interested in Fort Wayne for a few reasons:- I have some family in the area (they won't be involved, but have some general knowledge of the area)- Decent schools- Low crime- Airport- Low pricesAny advice or connections are welcome as I am completely new to this.

Some people do MTR/STR with it's proximity to the airport and North KC

Such as proximity to a major metro or an airport are important things I have considered when looking due to having to travel still fairly frequently for work.

the additional of richenbacker airport, and the Ohio river really make the freight and logistics passing through a major economic driver, but its far from the only one.

The area is very desirable, great schools, restaurants, shops and major airports close by. 12 mins from downtown St.

Houston is a big, far reaching airport.

The city has excellent fundamentals...strong Ed's and Med's which are some of the most stable employers, huge investments made in the life science sector,  proximity and easy access to NYC and DC, international airport, port city to name a few.
