Currently, we have close to 5 months rent just to cover insurance and property taxes, it is a bit absurd and is reaching the point where you are better off putting your money into a savings account rather then a rental property, or you take on more risk, self-insure.Hopefully, he will not be re-elected, he made it quite clear that he had no problem leaving his elected post should McCain want him, but have never seen a more Republican state.We continue to avoid adding rentals in Florida and look to unwind our investment properties there.

We had a Brinks system for 15 years and when we cancelled our service (to upgrade to a more sophistocated system from another company), they tried to charge us a $260 cancellation charge, even though they couldn't provide a contract that said we owed it.

I can afford to invest. but at a more conservitive rate. but what I'm stuck with now, because of my fear of getting accepted for more than one at a time is this: I turn in an offer and wait for what seems like eternity. and end up with nothing....then try again....it seems like years pass before I get something with potential. what's the secret to multiple offers but not acutally getting stuck with more than I'm prepared to deal with?
