1 page contract- Not allowed by Attorney? Help

I've been using a simple 1 page contract like many wholesale investors use. Til this day I thought it was a legitimate contract and finally I decided to have a attorney look it over. Well, I got a call and was notified that this contract was to plain and didn't have enough things in it to secure the transaction. Please explain? Is it because Attorney's don't understand what we're trying to do? thank you
