If the dips are not too deep or wide, the click floor should hold-up, otherwise, it will eventually come apart and/or crack where it has no underlaying support.The thinner glue-down or self-adhearing planks will follow the contours of the floor quite faithfully ... often emphasizing all the hills and valleys.If possibly, applying a little self-levaler or floor patch to the subfloor first will yield a better result with your finish floor.
