Check out each bank's website and research their mortgage options.If you see the terms FHA or Conventional, it's safe to say they abide to Fannie's and Freddie's terms.If you see "in-house" or "your loan will not be sold" etc., its a good chance you can consider them to be a portfolio lender.Your best bet is to call the bank and ask!

"Pre-foreclosure" really only means "prior to the auction sale", not "pre-filing".That said, if there's still a hard-copy newspaper in your target area, check the legal notices, or try their on-line news website if it does not require a subscription.

For the sake of our industry, it's not enough to just provide rental housing value - providing a fair and quality experience to applicants and residents is equally important.I use Craigslist and Postlets (which is syndicated to Zillow, Trulia and others), as well as our company website to list vacancies. 95% of current traffic is coming from Craigslist and Zillow.
