Wholesaling Questions

Hello Everyone,

I'm coming to the forum with a few questions about wholesaling. I am currently in the Navy, stationed in North Chicago. I am very interested in wholesaling and I am wanting to close on a house within the next few months. I am very motivated to get started but just have a few obsticles. First, how do I create a strong buyers list that I could keep using even after I leave the area? I've heard of people doing deals without ever meeting the seller face to face, I would not be opposed to this down the road. Also I don't quite understand the assignment contract or how to fill one out. Like I said I am new and don't really have anyone to show me the ropes. And finally what is a title company and how do I find one so I can close on a deal? Thanks for taking the time to read this.
