When I started in this business 19 years ago,( and there are plenty of folks on here who preceded me ) we didn't have access to the technology that has been able to disseminate the educational portion of this business, like it does today.

Hi @Amanda Han,  I’m very early in my investment career with one rental property and I’m the process of trying to acquire a second.

I don’t have access to a MLS out of state.

If I am bidding against obvious amateurs with their hearts on their sleeves at the auction and I sense that they are willing to go significantly higher, I have no qualms about bidding them up a bit as a bar to entry into the group of experienced  auction buyers of the county who get things done in a civilized way and don't waste each other's time and energy when acquiring properties.

If acquired at a 9 cap+ just for longer term holding it might make sense.

I have a property in Hagerstown, MD but interested in acquiring another one within those counties. 

I have been trying several different methods of acquiring properties in Myrtle Beach, SC but nothing is really bringing in deals at a consistent pace.

Hi,Been thinking about using Roofstock for awhile for access to more affordable rental properties as I live in California.

Main question, how much debt should one carry to acquire more property, if any?
