So, I could still use or lease the lot once I have the deed just wouldn't be able to sell it or clear the title with the lien there or would they force me to pay off the lien before using it?

Two questions here about paying off a PML:1.

I have $50K in debt with a payment of about $1220 in a consolidation loan that will be payed off in 3 years.

I have seen more and more people put houses that should only be a long term rentals into service as a STR, as well as paying prices that will not cashflow. 

We absolutely never allow them to pay the costs and then "just take it out of rent" later! 

Very wealthy awesome people and they really like me......SOOO i explain the situation and they see my track record and BOOM I borrow 80k @ 10% APR interest only payments for 12 months with NO EARLY PAY OFF PENALTY (bless them) and i fix up the house and get a renter in there.

I would tell the attorney that if he is that impressed with his client's annual revenues and future prospects he is welcome to apply to guarantee the lease.
