Im familar with this property as I invest in this area.In fact, I even gave them a nice low ball offer that they didnt take :-)Its in solid condition, what types of violations are on the report (Link didn't work for me)No seller I know will fix violations, they are a pain and Chicago is very complex when it comes to permits and the building department.

The draws for repair was a little bit of a pain in the tush because they kept asking for licenses for general contractors and such, and licenses are not required here in VT.

Ideally you can put it in your self directed IRA and set-it & forget it.Otherwise you can attempt to buy the non performers and go though all the pain, agony, headaches, and grief in order to get them performing again.
