I've done the majority of my research on Kansas City and I'm also looking into Indianapolis.

Will over half your time be spent on your business related activities?

After you have checked off the most important criteria which most of the major providers have in common, however, price is a significant factor.

That's a great source to find others who are active in your market.  

I was told by the realtor that this home is in need of updating but nothing major in the sellers disclosure.  

Plus, if you live in one of the units for 2 years, cap gains up to $250k are tax exempt and for us active duty folks, you can "pause" the 2 out of 5 year rule for up to 10 years, which can be huge.
