As a person with little to no credit history, what would it look like to have a close family member sign for a loan, that for all intensive purposes, would be my property.I am 23, and just started a good paying job, finally have some money down to get some skin in the game and I really want to start as soon as possible, but I know my credit won't be up to par for at least a year.I'm just wondering if anybody here has ever done something like this and what were the steps needed to set this plan into action and maybe just some advice on the situation. Thanks big time much love

This avoids the entire fishing around for a trustworthy agent that probably doesn't care in the first place (after all, if you're a thousand miles away, there's nothing to stop them from saying the property is in a great area). The localized partner can also ward off issues with a property management company - they can drive by the property easily to make sure everything is in working order and provide easy access to the PM, whereas, you'll be a thousand miles away and unable to control things - you'd be reliant on other folks that don't have skin in the game.
