You'll see a little colored dot on the bottom left of user profiles -- this will indicate your colleagues and based on the color, you can see if they are online and available for chat.We hope this helps encourage further interaction between our members!

Also, network and focus on meeting and interacting with people who are making money in different ways.

I've also interacted with buyers that said they specifically do not want split-level houses, so I think the buyer's pool for split-level properties is a lot smaller.  

Generally speaking when dealing with online interactions it comes down to numbers.

You need to step outside the SOI, and interact with people you don't know.

Personally, I would never send out a colleague request without an accompanying note of introduction identifying why I am reaching out to them;  even if I were sending the request to someone with whom I've had plenty of interaction on the forums.  

Another is participatory education, which involves some sort of interaction with an educator, and can include seminars or boot camps, conference calls, and webcasts.

This would offer a tax advantage of avoiding the self employment tax at a certain income level, and the entity would provide you with limited liability protection if a client that you interacted with decided to initiate a lawsuit.

I'd like to stay away from the big lenders altogether but I've had a great interaction thus far and am being given super competitive rates compared to the smaller, local lenders.That said, I'm looking for a little guidance and/or perspective as to whether or not this may be an issue for me down the road.
