My company is a C-Corp, and I’m just trying to move money from one business venture (web design company), to another business venture (investment property that My wife will likely be getting the loan on). 

@Craig OrputDave's right, the TIC structure is the way to hold fractional ownership in a real estate venture with the ability to go your separate ways upon the exit of the project.

I was thinking that a Joint Venture may be the way to go?

Hi @Padric Lynch, I've seen a very similar situation in my market and I'm here to say:  it's way to nuanced to venture a guess at. 

I have so far always invested in Condos/Townhouses but now want to venture into multi-family?

With that being said, I fear that I have been putting all of my eggs in the wrong basket and may be venturing down a path of no return. 

In fact, it’s actually encouraged a large number of newcomers to view this venture as a stable career and solid investment strategy. 

You're in a good place to start your venture into this fluid market, I agree with  Gimenez as he states, you have to be careful as you invest in this market, you can lose money but gain insight into your next deal.

And, that is a recipe for success for any real estate investing venture.
