This is why I encounter $90k/yr spouses married to $10m/year executives that quit their $90k/yr day job and start gobbling up real estate -- that depreciation thing is a tax fiction.

IE the bank wants to see it listed for a few months etc etc..you firends have to work hard at putting together a short sale package etc etc.. 

Omar - There are no guarantees of course, but it could depend on your whole package.

I grew up an Army Brat and I also moved a lot within NC as an adult and I have never encountered problems like the DMV has when it comes to crooked slum lords and bellow-par-management companies.

Not to mention, reserves may be necessary if you encounter serious damage.

The only way of getting a corporate credit card would be to provide collateral and apparently that would be extra charges.That being said, has anyone encountered similar road blocks and if so, can you please advise how I can counter this obstacle?

Or do they typically only come in 1m/2m packages?  

I'd suggest seeking a lender that will do such a transaction and present the package with a viable financing option for a potential investor.
