Tenant from back apartment later tells me "There's bats (baby bats, worse) inside the porch...see them fly at night".

Don't you want to get up in the middle of the night to let them in when they've lost their keys?

According to the tenant they are making a gawd-awful racket at night.

Certainly you want to talk to lenders/insurance folks/realtors/etc. before diving in.

He took me night flying on our first date.

I am just curious....I do understand what you mean...I guess its more of a personal investment as oppossed to a financial investment...I do sleep better at night though and the mortgage/rent money is freed up so I can make other investments...Ideally I should have bought a couple homes here in Ca. several years ago and I would have had alot of equity which I could have leveraged..I need to get myself a crystal ball :woohoo:

I have a buddy from high school who is living there bartending at a club who says to be averaging about $800-1200/night..

That was extremely helpful and now I'll dive right in!

some of us have moral values and wouldnt be able to sleep at night if we left a family high and dry and skipped town with their money.
