U get over the thunderstorm in an hour or two but not the crimes and homeless.....And the shore is nice here in the summer, we lived in the Bay Area, the water there is just too cold even in the summer.Again, taxes here is insane too, but our school is open and teachers seem to be more diligent too.

Cold calling?

It's my butt in a chair in front of my computer, leaning into my monitor with my spreading gut pressed up against my desk, going through public records to find the prices that similar places nearby actually sold for, looking at pictures of these places wherever I can find them, utilizing my understanding of the neighborhoods I know in my target area.The right place for me to start from was to shoot for is a range.

I feel like I'm now ready to start cold calling. 

I encountered the scene below on a cold, rainy New Years Eve morning at a listing in North Austin.

My main concern when cold calling which is my current and only marketing strategy so far is to make sure I’m not calling people on the DNC list.

I was thinking of it as another tool for initial contact like RVM, cold calling, or direct mail.

@Candice De - As a person that views skiing as too cold, too crowded and requiring too early of a morning, I judge you for that, but probably most people fully understand skipping a zoom call for outdoor recreation. :) Shoot me your email in a private message and I'll get you on the distro list. 

I wanna start my career off right as a new licensed RE agent, should I join a development and sell model homes to jump into it or the traditional route of cold calling and building my clientele.
