Can someone explain why those with good credit should be punished?  

You will constantly be punished & weak points will get exposed, it is not for everyone but it can be for you.

Removing air conditioning during the summer could certainly be considered 'diminishing services to the tenant' and is punishable by not only actual damages but by punitive damages!

Plus, we punish those who actually try to work some temp jobs by taking away their benefits if they make "too much."

Its not that they're  gluttons for punishment.

Maybe its nobody's fault so maybe the potential customer shouldn't be punished. #4) This just smacks of bait and switch.

Sorry if I don't have the faith some of you true believers do in the court system as to being the best arbitrator of determining what is "fair" and putting myself in a position to be reliant on their determination of my punishment rather then proactively protecting myself from their judgement. 

Also insurance companies are beginning to really punish those with older houses according to a bigger pockets member who owns a sfr in the area.I do not live there so cannot consider a rehab but would like to do one one day maybe as a JVOnce again thanks for your comments and advise..
