Felony Conviction - would you accept or absolute deal breaker?

Fellow landlords, what would be your position on a tenant applicant that had a felony conviction (burglary) nearly 25 years ago?  He has a wife and two young kids.  Credit is not stellar (but I've seen worse), but they meet the income requirements and references check out.  Previous landlord indicated on-time payment for a year (which I can see on their bank statements....ACH payment).  Also appears they took care of their last property according to the landlord reference.

25 years ago? how long does a brother have to be punished? ;)

I say if all else passes your criteria, and you met the guy and he seems standup then go for it. 25 years ago I was 8...I would hate to be held accountable for any of those actions now. People change, seems like he has his stuff together now.
