YOU can GC absolutely, but if that is what you want to do going forward, use this good GC as an example before you launch--many of us are happy to mentor others--ask and see if you can make this part of your arrangement. 

If you are new to investing, try to find a good agent or mentor that really cares about your finances and wants to give you the best advice.

Likewise, in real estate there are Mentors by the dozen that all have “the secret to your success” available for purchase ranging from $289 to $50,000 (no joke on that upper number).

Had a meeting with my mentor from the team, basic convo, getting to know each other... just to find out he's a new agent as well!

What helped me build confidence were the following:-Listening to as many podcasts including BP as possible-Utilizing the miracle morning routine daily-Read as many real estate investing books that I could get my hands on-Attending as many local real estate meetups as possible-Finding a mentor that was doing what I wanted to do at a larger scale and providing him immense value so he would take me under his wing-Starting my own local real estate meetup-Walk as many properties as possible and make offers.

When I hear about some of these deals people being "mentored" by some well known guru are attempting to put together, I know by experience that there's a 90% chance it ends up in court.  

You also are going to want to find a mentor, and lean on them for valuable knowledge.

My agent is showing the ropes on the math from purchase price to the ARV and the difference of the cost in between and also I have a friend who’s a millionaire who does fix and flips mentoring me the way as well.
