I’m new to wholesaling and I’m considering working with a mentor/coach.

Greg,What type of mentor are you looking for, in terms of where do you need the most help right now?

If you want to be mentored your best bet is to go work for a company - most CRE is not a single individual and CRE is fast moving and things happen fast and you can't structure a "follow me to learn" without working for someone 

If any buyers want to mentor me and do a JV deal that would be awesome.

It more likely may be found with a local investor/teacher doing “hands on” mentoring himself and not through an organization run like a production line. 

When I go to events like this, I do go to some of the sessions, but most of my time is just sitting in the lobby chatting with people.

Of course there was offers to register for more courses and mentoring  and various up sells, but you will find that at any seminar. 

I am well versed in pretty much every facet of Real Estate: house hack, LTR/MTR/STR, multifamily, and fix and flips primarily.Aside from that I am also (somewhat) a serial entrepreneur, having started and sold multiple business' over the last 15 years.I also meet with 20+ professionals every week, through referral groups, meetups, and just 1 on 1 sessions trying to get to know people and make connections.I would love to chat with you if you are looking to meet people and get more information about real estate in San Diego!
