BP has a podcast that was done years ago with a guest who wholesaled virtually from Australia sorry can't remember the episode so you have to do some digging. 

What was interesting is they completely wrote off investing in Australia due to the high prices of houses and the low returns from rent which is correct in my experience.

The second option is that I will save up around €20,000, sell my car, which is worth around €5,000 and quit my job and go backpacking for a year in Middle and South America, New Zealand, Australia, and Asia.
