Most shingles these days are multicolored, I'd probably go for that style in medium/light grayish hues.

There's a reddish/orange box around the "X" in the logo.It's a hunting/outdoors app but you can actually use it to search for property boundaries as well as owner information.It has different layers, most of them will won't apply, such as hunting unit overlays, but the two layers that can really help are the parcel data overlay and possibly the topography map overlay.

Backsplashes can be used to tie colors together in a kitchen.I like the suggestion of white subway tile for two reasons...it's really cheap (3x6 subway tiles run about 19-22 cents each) and with the white appliances and floor, it would work well.You could also try glass tile that has whites, blacks, and orangish/reddish colors that match your cabinets...it would ultimately tie everything together.

If those are the current body colors of the house, I'd go with a rich, warm hue for the entry, like a deep burgundy, and unless it has a decided function, remove the glass "storm" door.Find a couple of matching, cool-looking mailboxes and position them together centered under the window.I'd also paint the garage doors a dark gray, about halfway between the siding and roof colors.Replace the carriage fixtures with something clean-lined and contemporary, and much LARGER.Then, do some landscaping... start with about 3-5 junipers or anything that grows tightly (almost straight upward) in a column-like form, plant them in a row along the front of the walkway, maybe with some seasonal color at ground level.

One way to get around this is to use smart bulbs instead of smart dimmers/switches, like Philips Hue which allows control of multiple hubs.

Also, when looking at colors in the store, always fold anything else on the chip away so that you're looking at only the color you are considering, and hold it up against a white piece of paper, otherwise your eye will pick up the hue of other colors.

As for the color, funny enough, I did that color to make it stand out some and I can tell you that since we have painted I have seen no fewer than 4-5 houses now get painted some hue of Blue or Light Gray; usually someone just has to do it first and then everyone else follows suit.

We had to pay for cable and gas and they were working to meter the water.I attribute that to mismanagement, deferred maintenance on the exterior that became a hue expense at the same time people were walking away from their condos (and fees) because they were underwater in their mortgages.Beware...
