We have not used the cameras in many years but Simpli Safe had cellular cameras and a complete system.

WiFi or cellular systems can be expensive to keep connected and seem more likely to lose their connection if there's a power interruption or something resets the router. i am looking to purchase a system that works with a phone line.

It already has a tower on it where cell antennas could be installed without changing the look of the property at all - so improved cell service for everyone with no new ugly cell tower to complain about.Anyone have experience courting cellular companies or leasing to them?

It is wireless and has a cellular uplink to a monitoring service.I ordered a refurbished model which has been problematic initially.  

Now in my neighborhood, if a child at the bus stop had a gun, and an adult knew about it, the adult would call 911 and report it, and let the Patrol Officers end the situation for the safety of others, vs breaking the lease and moving away.The Police will end it, and when it's done they will be holding that gun--as evidence.Does she have no Cellular Phone--to let the fingers do the walking--911(???)

@RobTheHouseGuy1-Actually there is an opt-out mechanism, all text-message campaigns are required by the cellular carriers to provide it, otherwise they're in violation of the carriers' TOSs.Sometimes responding with "STOP" works, at least that's something of a standard in the text message world.
