I have a few units in Egypt (where I'm originally from) that I rent out but obviously, everything is very different. 

Same goes for a lot of international buyers buying all cash from all over- Egypt , Israel, Canada, Singapore etc. indeed chasing yield.

They were roaming enemies of pretty much everyone in the region - ironically their two biggest enemies since BC times were Israel and Egypt (the two running this current Gaza blockade).

I agree with Curt....To add on stay away from North Memphis (Frasier, Egypt), South Memphis(westwood,whitehaven,oakhaven,airport district), Hickory hill is iffySome decent areas areMidtown, cordova, and Germantown, ,collierville (a bit on the higher end though) I like North mississippi just over the Memphis border (Horn Lake, Southaven, Olive Branch).  

@Josh Rodriguez I would look into areas such as East Tampa, Seminole Heights, Egypt Lake/Lowry Park.

My existing understanding:Military law (eg, UCMJ) doesn't apply to civilians, except in a place like Israel or Egypt where they've done some very disconcerting things re: civil liberties and military law applying to civilians.For example: UCMJ says you can't cheat on your spouse.

Thanks to those that gave me suggestions for both NY and Egypt.

Does any one could buy home there? Do you think this kind of investment?
