An abstract can be done by an attorney, they can bring the history of the title to date, but a title insurance company will want that performed by an agent or an attorney approved by that company.

To me that means that I lend to just a small number of people I know and have history with.

I will be back in school next fall and my plan is to live in one room and rent out the other two rooms.
