There's always a turnover to coordinate, a guest with maintenance problems or questions about parking, cleaners to coordinate, future guests with questions about reservations, etc.One rental may not be bad, but I guarantee you'll spend more than five minutes a week on it.

That, and the fact that generally lenders have policies against Subject-To transfers, make this a less than desirable opportunity.

If a Landlord wants to physically inspect, they need to coordinate that with me so I can supervise.

In larger companies, you may have a very narrow scope of focus, like application screening or maintenance coordination.

@Keith Gilad I would definitely listen to @Dave Foster about doing 1031 Transfers.

You will be given a hearing sometime later in 2023 at which point the committee will likely have to revert to the recent (within 3 years) transfer price. 

A transfer station will charge you something because they have to move it. 

As mentioned above, it is your intent at the time the contract is consummated that matters, however...If it is your belief that a job transfer out of state in the very near future is more likely than not you're entering some grey territory right there.
