@Luke MarlarYes, the renters pay their own utilities and are responsible for lawn maintenance.  

A good market for me includes at least 1Million population with low unemployment, good jobs, cheap houses and business friendly and fiscally responsible city / state (check their credit rating).

Is mortgage calculated in a different way compared to mortgages that are taken for other purposes like an educational loan, personal loan etc?
