Hello everyone, I hope all of you are doing well in this pandemic and hope all this COVID thing will be over soon.My wife and I are not too far from retirement and started thinking of buying an oceanside or oceanfront property as a short-term rental for now and eventually moving in.

I've seen it before where agents forgot to fill out dates or get the right signatures and if one party doesn't agree to correct it, the deal stalls and eventually times out.

I think the safe T act is going to make a bad situation worse up there and I anticipate crime rates going up and eventually more people will leave the city. you may have a situation like New York in the 70s where crime got out of control and the market/city took a hit, prices came down and opened up opportunities for people in the 80s to invest and build the city back up after they finally realized something needed to be done. just my thoughts though.

Keep after it, don't let the fact that you are not coming from a place of money become an excuse, it just means that you will appreciate it all the more once it comes, and it will eventually if you stick with it ... like a lender with money, I'll wish you good luck even though you don't need it :)
