Knoxville is not much different than any other market out there from the basic premise you’ll find or learn about anywhere I also host a local meetup just check the events forum for the East TN REI meetup. 

I always wonder if I should message Airbnb hosts who have cabins in the Lake Tahoe/Truckee area that I already plan on visiting anyways and just see if anyone would be willing to trade a night or two in exchange for professional photos (possibly video also if the property is expensive enough).

Many of them may be involved in hosting the meetup, which would be a dead give away that they are interested in your business!

I would imagine, being a host on the premise would garner you more control over your listing and accommodation services, and most importantly avoid being fined from the city(if zoning laws doesn't permit).
