I believe the syndication process could potentially work with commercial properties and turning a 5-20 unit into a mini hotel by repositioning and increasing revenue?

If tomorrow the government said the max price for any night at any hotel was #50/noght, the “market price” for a night at a hotel is $50.

Taking a look at Airbnb/VRBO 30+ day stays and extended stay hotels as well may give you a better idea of demand as well

Yeah, I think that what sets apart short-term rentals from hotels and other short-term rentals is uniqueness.

Per the ordinance: "Vacation Home Rentals are an allowable use in the Hotel Resort (HR) District,(iii) Office Service (C-1) District(iv), Neighborhood Center (C-2) District,(v) Community Center (C-3) District,(vi) Regional Center (C-4) Districts,(vii) and Development (D-1, D-2, D-3) Districts(viii) with a maintained City Vacation Home Rental License."

There are multiple chain hotels in the area and only 5-10 STRs besides mine.
