I have learned a lot from this site and the podcasts. 

Options are somewhat similar, but as said previously it's a "contract, to sign a contract" which overly complicates things in my mind.

Ive seen on bigger pockets and the site rentimeter.com keeps coming up but this site only takes into account the number of bed/baths in a property and not that fact that a 2 bed 2 bath multi family is actually 2 separate units with 1 b 1 bath in each.

Being in the services will complicate your plans to hold and for that reason your best option at your age may be to buy, add sweat equity and sell when transferred.

In my local MLS market, the RE taxes are itemized on the MLS report (which I can then verify through the municipality's web site).How does it work in VA?
