We had a pink bath done 'professionally' ($475) in a SFR about 4 years ago & its breaking down as rings from the bottom of the cans or bottles she puts on the ledge.I wish I had torn it out during the rehab but the wall tile was in great shape & very appealing & we had the usual time constraints.

Pull up the flooring, clean it the best you can with odor neutralizers then paint the floor with latex paint which will trap the odor generating urine.

So, bottom line- with the plan I have, going with an FHA loan, doing the work myself and living in the home for 2 years is ideal.
