But I have a Mother-in-law wing on m property that I have a tenant in , and his rent will almost cover my entire mortgage payment ( even with the added $180 - $200 from doing the refi. on the Primary )Anyways, just wanted to break down the numbers and my plan of action, and get others thoughts and opinions , and seeing if anyone else has gotten/used a 100% of the Equity from doing a refi. on their Primary using a VA loan ?

They are somewhat skeptical about heading down this path, but if the numbers make sense (and my uncle agrees to it -- the house is in both his and my mother's name) then they'll do it.

There's more...I have a friend that has a 4 bed/2 bath home with mother-in-law apartment, and he and his wife are looking at moving closer to his job.

My mother is a perfect example of someone close to me who was skeptical, but she was just fearful that I was making a huge mistake.

My Grandfather has a few houses he rents out and my Mother has started her own RE company.
