It was failing but was in an upscale area near a lake and lots of subdivisions with HOAs that don’t allow storage at home.

My wife and I live on Norway lake. 

Personally I really Like Rice Lake, I think that town has a ton going for it. but Im a long way from there now, maybe when my kids are done with school in a few years I will spend a summer buying a couple and developing a team in the north west part of the state.

These properties are near Lake Minnetonka, which a lot of people from the Minneapolis metro area want to get to as it’s a half hour drive from downtown Minneapolis.

I will need to sublet my room if/when I move out to finish my 1 year lease.I have always been curious if Denver rents and home values will be negatively affected by all of the new build, higher density, apartment buildings, condos/townhomes/modern 4plex/duplexes that are taking over Denver and more specifically the areas I in interested in living that include Highlands to east Wheat Ridge, Sloan Lake, Villa Park, anywhere along the light rail, West Colfax areas, etc.I am now seeing room for rent at $1200/month or less for a private room and private bath in some of these new builds on craigslist.
