I do plan on getting a backup generator but there’s a one year backlog ughPlumber is pushing for me to switch to a new propane heater to heat both units.My concern is running out of propane and having the pipes freezing...Someone suggested to me that electric baseboard heaters are a good choice and cost effective.

Still a great option, but if someone is low on cash to put the full 15% down, a 3.5% down FHA loan can still be a great choice to get started.
