A listing agent or property manager will not provide you with any information regarding rents based on a phone call from you.

Just work with the case worker of the tenant call section 8 and find out who the case worker is for the tenant is , get their email and phone number , they will help resolve the issue , know that some of the section 8 programs are pretty tough on tenants they may end up loosing the voucher if they don't comply with certain rules.

They can usually give you a basic idea over the phone of very rough cost and the steps they do.

There's no test, no interview other than five minutes over the phone, no references -- any warm body will do.
